More musical events with
the quiet room to come

THE MOODIE HOUSE was honoured to host:

🎶 The Quiet Room: An Afternoon of Original Composition 🎶
A captivating musical journey featuring solo bassist Kris Tischbein and singer-songwriter Andy Forgie.
Join us for a soul-stirring concert in two acts:
• Set One: Kris Tischbein opens with his stunningly beautiful and deeply expressive solo bass compositions, as featured in the award-winning documentary Strings of Inspiration. His work transcends genre, weaving melody and emotion into a tapestry of sound that speaks directly to the heart.
• Set Two: Andy Forgie takes the stage with a collection of original songs that explore love — both lost and found. With heartfelt lyrics and timeless melodies, Andy also revisits selections from his recording bands Creed and Photograph, offering a nostalgic yet fresh perspective on his musical legacy.
Throughout the afternoon, Kris and Andy will also share a few cherished songs they wish they had written — musical gems that have inspired their own creative journeys and continue to resonate deeply.

  • No on-site parking. Ample street parking nearby.

  • No public washroom available.

  • Wheelchair access is temporarily unavailable due to historic architecture and ongoing renovations.
